Nominations Now Open for 2025 Sullivan County Chamber Business Excellence Awards

Monticello, NY – The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Business Excellence Awards. Honorees will be recognized during the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre.

These annual awards recognize the exceptional individuals and organizations that drive economic growth, community impact, and leadership throughout Sullivan County. We invite Chamber members, business owners, and community members to submit nominations for those who exemplify excellence in their field and dedication to our region.

Award Categories:

• Businessperson of the Year
Honors an individual with outstanding business leadership, strategic vision, and a proven track record of professional success and community impact.

• Distinguished Achievement Award
Recognizes an individual or organization whose accomplishments have made a lasting, meaningful contribution to Sullivan County through economic, cultural, social, or civic efforts.

• Distinguished Service Award
Presented to an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the community through volunteerism, advocacy, or leadership.

• Emerging Leader Award
Celebrates a rising professional showing exceptional promise, leadership, and community impact while serving as an inspiring role model for others.

• Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Workplace Excellence Award
Honors an individual or organization actively creating inclusive, diverse, and equitable work environments through employee development and inclusive practices.

Important Update for 2025:
The process is a little different this year! Both the nominations and the award winners will be chosen by you, our voting members. Once nominations close, be sure to watch for the next stage of voting, where you’ll have the chance to help decide who takes home the honors.

Nomination Deadline:
All nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, August 27th at 5:00 PM (Eastern).

Nominations are open to the public.
