New Hope Community Chief Operating Officer Karen Russell Appointed Next CEO
Experienced Leader to Drive Next Chapter in Support of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
New Hope Community, a nonprofit dedicated to providing support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), has announced Karen Russell, New Hope Community's Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.
With over 30 years of progressive experience at New Hope Community, Ms. Russell brings a wealth of operational expertise and unwavering dedication to the organization’s mission, vision, and values. She began her journey with New Hope Community in 1995 as a Service Coordinator and has since built an impressive career, advancing through key roles in Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, and Executive Management. Karen has played a pivotal role in developing
new programs and opportunities for both individuals and staff and led the expansion of departments to better serve a growing community of individuals. Her leadership has driven meaningful change and positioned New Hope Community for a strong future. Ms. Russell remains deeply committed to the people, staff, and families of New Hope Community, guided by her strong belief in New Hope Community’s mission.
