Petitions to Run for a Seat on the EBCP Library Board of Trustees Available Friday, August 8th
MONTICELLO, N.Y.: Library Trustee Petitions Available for two 3-Year Terms, and two 2-Year Terms
Petitions will be available Friday, August 8th, for the October 15, 2025 election of trustees at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello, N.Y. Four of the seven seats on the board are up for election:
Two seats for full 3-year terms (1/1/26 – 12/31/28)
Two seats for the remaining 2 years of two 3-year terms (1/1/25 – 12/31/27)
Incumbents Lynne V. Albuquerque (3yr), Rebecca Kemp (3yr), and Louis Spataro (2yr) are seeking re-election. One seat on the board with 2-years remaining is currently vacant.
Come to the library to pick up a trustee petition from the election secretary if you are interested in running and you are an eligible voter that resides within the library service area (the Town of Forestburgh, Bethel or Thompson within the Monticello Central School District). Petitions must be returned to the library by 5pm on Monday, September 15, 2025.
