Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce Appoints New President and CEO
[Monticello, NY], – The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the appointment of Ashley Leavitt as the new President and CEO, effective immediately. Ashley brings a robust background in business development, recruitment, and organizational development, making her a stellar addition to our leadership team.
From March 2016 Ashley served at SUNY Ulster Community College in various capacities within the Learning Center, Testing Center, Disability Services, and as an Assistant for Student Development. In these roles, she significantly contributed to student support and development initiatives, demonstrating a strong commitment to educational excellence. She then advanced to the role of Assistant Athletic Director in August 2018 where she successfully oversaw athletic events, managed budgets, and provided academic advising to athletes.
Ashley further honed her leadership skills as the Enrollment Manager at The Culinary Institute of America in November 2019. During her tenure, she developed and implemented yield plans for accepted students, supported all domestic campuses, and efficiently managed the admissions funnel, showcasing her ability to drive organizational success.
From September 2021, Ashley held the position of Assistant Vice President at Robert Half. In this capacity, she maintained above-average performance metrics in marketing and recruiting, led business generation efforts, and was responsible for cultivating new business, further establishing her as a leader in the field.
Most recently, Ashley served as the Director - Head of Office Administration at Madison Davis. In this role, she managed and trained a team of national recruiters, maintained national sales with high-end clientele, led business development, and spearheaded market expansion initiatives, demonstrating her strategic vision and operational expertise.
Currently, Ashley and her husband Mike own All Things Accuracy in the Liberty Mall. They started their business in Sullivan County about a year ago, and have since been a staple in the community.
