The Allyson Whitney Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that empowers and fights for the interests of young adults with rare cancers. Our vision is to improve the quality of life, as well as provide emotional support for patients. Allyson Whitney Foundation primarily provides individuals with grants to ease their financial burden so that they can concentrate their energy on healing.
This foundation was created in love and memory of Allyson Whitney Strong, 25 years old, taken too soon from a rare and aggressive cancer, small cell cervical. Our efforts are supported by many..we give thanks for all of you who are making our pursuit come to a reality..
Smart small, Dream BIG! Our other initiatives include working with DKMS Americas (Delete Blood Cancers) who supply us with swabbing materials for potential donors to be on the Bone Marrow National Registry and funding innovative projects such as, MD Anderson Cancer Center's global database for patients and doctors to log into see other protocols for the rare cancer SCCC.
