Timber Rafts, a Canal, Three Railroads, the Automobile and a Global Pandemic: The Role of Transportation in the Development of Sullivan County

The Sullivan County Chamber Foundation (SCCF) with the generous support from Orange and Rockland Utilities is proud to welcome John Conway, Sullivan County Historian as the first presenter in a series of online webinars.

SCCF is a non-profit organization dedicated to to developing informed and committed leaders from all segments of the community who will apply their collective experience and skills to serve, strengthen and improve the quality of the life for all people who live and work in Sullivan County. One of the ways in which the Foundation does this is through it's Leadership Sullivan Class. This year, because of imposed COVID restrictions, the class was unable to take place. These online presentations are an offering to keep us in touch as a community and will be free to everyone. Please pre-register to participate. We look forward to a new class commencing in September of 2021 and will keep you updated to it happening. Follow us on Facebook @leadershipsullivan.

What should we make of this phenomenon, and will those new residents remain here post-COVID?
