Catskill Literacies is an educational support service that offers a strength-based approach to working with learners. Tutoring, reading and writing instruction, and assessments (including reading, writing, and dyslexia screening) are available for all ages. Workshops for children and parents will occur throughout the year. Our in-person approach is firmly grounded in a combined framework of scientifically sound research with authentic and purposeful reading and writing practices. Each youngster is unique and one size [learning] does not fit all. Our goal is to create lifelong lovers of reading and writing, which goes beyond test scores and reading levels.
