The Ballroom & Salsa Dance Programs at HPAC are not only about learning dance steps, but also about fostering social connections, promoting healthier lifestyles, and strengthening community involvement. It’s an exciting opportunity for individuals of all ages to discover the joy and benefits of dance.
Participants learn the fundamentals and principles of social dancing. The program is designed to have seasonal presentations.
One of the key goals of the program is to help individuals develop a positive body image by learning to activate and integrate their entire body. By doing so, they will be able to express themselves more creatively and develop discipline.
In addition, participants will learn how to work as a team and develop trust, as well as cultivate self-respect and respect for others.
Dance has a unique ability to help individuals channel their energy productively, build self-confidence, and adopt a healthier lifestyle. It allows for the connection of the body’s intellect and emotions, promoting overall well-being.
